Girls' Frontline (simplified Chinese: 少女前线; traditional Chinese: 少女前線) is a mobile strategy game developed by MICA Team, a Chinese company. It is a moe anthropomorphism game in which the player controls echelons of android characters, known in-game as 'T-Dolls' or 'Tactical Dolls', each of which represents a real-world firearm. The game was released in Mainland China on 20 May 2016, and in Hong Kong and Taiwan on 18 January 2017. It was also released in South Korea on 30 June 2017. SUNBORN Network Technology published and released both the English and Japanese version on May 8, 2018 and August 1, 2018 respectively with the Japanese version under the title Dolls Frontline due to the Girls' Frontline IP trademark being held.[1]
This game is a prequel of another game developed by the same company, Codename: Bakery Girl, which was released in 2004.

Gameplay[edit]
Overall, the game revolves around using gacha game mechanics to assemble squads of T-Dolls, known as echelons, and sending them into battle to complete combat missions, simulations, or logistics support tasks. As noted above, each of the characters are female moe anthropomorphisms of real-world firearms (e.g. Vector being a KRISS Vector, Gr G3 being a HK G3 or Spitfire being a JSP Spitfire).
Combat in the game is performed by utilizing T-Dolls in teams known as echelons. Each echelon is made up of one to five T-Dolls arranged in a formation, which occupies a 3x3 square grid. Each T-Doll has a unique position in the grid and their position will influence how they are targeted by enemies and the T-Doll's formation bonus. Each T-Doll has an aura effect which enhances the abilities of other T-Dolls that are adjacent, or diagonal, to the T-Doll. Most T-Dolls enhance only one other type of T-Doll (for example AR-type T-Dolls will enhance SMG-type T-Dolls) but exceptions exist such as M4A1, who's formation bonuses affect other AR-type T-Dolls.
In addition to the T-Doll's passive formation bonus, T-Dolls also have an active skill which varies from T-Doll to T-Doll; some T-Doll skills affect their defensive or offensive ability, provide bonuses to allies, negative effects to enemies, or are directly damaging such as using an integrated grenade launcher.
The player plays the role of a newly recruited commander of an area, tasked with assembling and commanding T-Dolls in battle, and organises the echelons as well as arranging for the T-Dolls' wellbeing. Battles are a mix of turn-based strategy puzzles on a set map with enemies that can move about, random item nodes and heliports/command nodes, from which the player can summon their own echelons, or call in friendly support echelons, which are echelons that the player's friend sets on their profile to be used by others, and real-time battles with enemy echelons. Battles are for the most part automated, although the player can activate the T-Dolls' special abilities manually if wanted, or order them to different spots in formation (which the player can organise out of battle to be set as the default formation when entering a battle) or to withdraw in order to conserve health or resources). Players also have the option of withdrawing specific echelons from the mission altogether if they wish. Gameplay progresses by playing on the campaign missions, logistic support missions, or combat simulations to level up each T-Doll.The game also features gacha elements, such as in the production and heavy production of T-Dolls and their equipment, or in the Dormitory with costumes and furniture sets for the T-Dolls. The gacha mechanics frequently are augmented by Events that operated on a time-limited basis with drop rates for certain T-Dolls or several sets and costumes being available for only a limited time, before another few sets and costumes are revealed and added. After a while, old costumes from previous gacha events will be added to the 'Black Card' store, where players can exchange an amount of Black Cards (obtained from gifting T-Dolls a duplicate costume that has already been gifted before) for a costume of a previous gacha set. Players can customise their dorms with furniture, and interact with animated Chibi renditions of the T-Dolls in the echelon corresponding with that dorm. They can also gift the T-Dolls food and costume, which raises the affection of the T-Dolls. Affection is also gained from success in battle, and is lost when the T-Dolls die (unless it is a boss battle) or when another T-Doll in the same echelon dies.
Plot[edit]
in 2062, Sangvis Ferri's AI, their T-Dolls (Tactical Dolls that are used for fighting instead of humans due to most of the land being uninhabitable because of nuclear war) and robots suddenly rebelled, killing their human masters and began conquering nearby nations. In response, Grifon & Kryuger were hired to stop Sangvis Ferri forces invading other nations and to contain and eliminate them. The player takes the role of a recently promoted G&K Commander as they battle Sangvis Ferri forces. Although the game's overarching story deals with the war between G&K and SF, it mostly focuses on a few select characters, primarily the AR (Anti-Rain) Team, which is G&K's premier SOF T-Doll echelon made up of M4A1, M16, ST AR-15 and SOPMOD II. Other dolls are also touched upon such the 404 Squad, G&K's Black Ops T-Doll echelon which is composed of T-Dolls themed after Heckler & Koch weapons: UMP45, UMP9, HK416 and G11. After a few major events, AN-94 and AK-12 are now also main characters.
Currently, the game focuses on the four characters M4A1, ST AR-15, AN-94, and AK-12.
Crossover Collaboration[edit]
The game has several collaboration with other game companies. On September 4, 2018, the PS4 rhythm game, DJMax Respect featured three songs from Girls' Frontline as DLC.[2]
On November 9, 2018, Girls' Frontline announced a crossover event with Arc System Works on November 20 where Noel Vermillion and Elphelt Valentine from BlazBlue and Guilty Gear respectively would appear in the game as recruitable allies.[3]
On January 11, 2019, Sukeban Games announced their anime cyberpunk visual novel, VA-11 HALL-A, will be getting a collaboration with Girls’ Frontline.[4]

Contents BackgroundThe UMP ( Universale Maschinenpistole, German for 'Universal Machine Pistol') is a submachine gun developed and manufactured by Heckler & Koch. The UMP has been adopted by various agencies such as the U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Heckler & Koch developed the UMP as a lighter and cheaper successor to the MP5, though both remain in production. The UMP is a blowback operated, magazine-fed submachine gun firing from a closed bolt. As originally designed, the UMP is chambered for larger cartridges (.45 ACP and.40 S&W) than other submachine guns like the MP5, to provide more stopping power against unarmored targets.Game Data StatsAcquirement MethodHP93→185Firepower11→2802:15:00Evasion10→74Accuracy2→13Movement Spd12Reload57→82Combat Effectiveness147→4008Skill Trivia References T-Dolls by classHandguns★★ ★★★ ★★★★ ★★★★★ Assault Rifles★★ ★★★ ★★★★ ★★★★★ Submachine Guns★★ ★★★ ★★★★ ★★★★★ Rifles★★ ★★★ ★★★★ ★★★★★ Machine Guns★★ ★★★ ★★★★ ★★★★★.
